How do I put the creature on my Lock Screen?

Open the companion screen, open its details sheet, and start the Live Activity from there. It then appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, where you can feed, wash and play without unlocking — and open a blind box.

It disappeared from my Lock Screen

That is iOS rather than a fault. A Live Activity has a maximum lifetime of roughly twelve hours, after which the system removes it. Open Sumu and start it again. The Home Screen widget has no such limit, so it is the better choice if you want the creature permanently in view.

Tapping the Dynamic Island does nothing

Buttons work on the Lock Screen and in the expanded island, the one you get by pressing and holding. Tapping the small compact or minimal island opens the app instead. That is a system rule, not a setting.

My stats did not move while the app was closed

They did. Sumu never runs in the background. It works out how hungry your companion should be from how long it has been, at the moment you look, so the numbers are right whether you check after ten minutes or after three days.

Caring for my pet earned no hearts

Care pays only when it is needed. Feeding an already-full companion is free and worth nothing, deliberately, or the Lock Screen buttons would be an unlimited source of hearts. Wait until the stat has actually dropped.

I bought something and it has not arrived

Open the shop and use Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so a restore also brings them back on a new device. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of the purchase.

How do I cancel the Sumu Club?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the manage-subscription link in the app. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep the membership until the paid period ends. Refunds are Apple's to give — reportaproblem.apple.com.

Anything the Club or a pack gave you that is already yours stays yours. It changes what you earn, never what you have collected.

Where is my collection kept? Can I move it?

On your device, and only there. Sumu has no accounts and no cloud sync — but that has a real cost, and we would rather say it than hide it: deleting the app deletes your collection, and we cannot restore it for you, because we never had a copy. A full device backup made through Apple does include the save.

What are the odds?

They are printed in the app, on the series screen. They are a floor rather than a target: a guaranteed-rare counter means the real rate sits slightly above the number shown. No purchase changes what comes out of a box.

A code someone sent me will not redeem

Codes work once per device, and there is a daily limit on how many can be redeemed. Check the characters too — codes use a restricted alphabet, so a character that looks right may not be one the app accepts.

Sumu supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver. If something is unusable for you, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Tell us which screen.
